*this is a controversial topic if i must say,so please be warned that the following content might offend you,and if you think that it will really offend you,please leave before it happens,and please dont complain if you get offended,for you are warned*

first,let us all take a look at this picture...

this picture shows some kids playing years back,probably in the 1980's,nice isnt it (: just have to play,little education,what kids know back then is just to relax.

its a wonder how the world has changed,or should i say,the life has changed in the space of just 20 years

take a look at the news

life for kids is so different now, if the past is 90% play,10% study,then i would say that now is 70% study,30% play.

back then,at my year,theres PSLE,and now,they are talking about the iPSLE,which means International Primary SchooL Examination.

the keyword here is,international,which means it will work like 'o' level.means that theres a "standard" for every subject.

now my question is,why must kids be given so much stress?

it is a period when someone grows,creating a structure which they will grow upon,and roughly becoming what they will be like in the future.

yes,the kid stage,is the most important stage in life,for it affects you greatly,whether its behaviour or character,it all started from there.

it is a stage to enjoy,a stage to dream,a stage to have fun.

so why,introduce such an idea?

do you think the kids will like it?
do you think the iPSLE can actually greatly affect them in the future?

my answer is definitely,no.

look,there it stated that,"there is no equivalent to primary education exams"

my question is,do you need it at the first place?

yes,the o level cert can really affect yourself,for it is highly recognizable in the world,but is there such a need for a PSLE cert?

and mind you,the iPSLE is only in the ASIA only,so,its very unlike o level. not that recognizable if i should say.

just imagine, if you have an o level cert,and you go around telling people you have it,people will go wow,why?its cambridge we are talking about.

what if,you have an iPSLE cert,and you go around telling people,how will people respond?just imagine for yourself.

however,i do think that,this iPSLE is beneficial for other countries

"students who take the iPSLE can use their results to apply for secondary schools in singapore"

well,its an attractive option.but,you can also apply for secondary schools in singapore without doing that as well,a bit harder thou
so is there really a need for an international primary school level exam

answer me not,keep the answer to yourself

why,tell me why,must we add stress to our boys/girls,when at this point of time they should be dreaming.

why,tell me why,must we inject reality into their innocent life and destroy their good,good childhood?

why,tell me why,when the parents thought their kids must score better than the other kids,they never feel how their kids are feeling?

please,stop destroying one's childhood,if not,the boy wont be crying over a teddy bear,but a fairly-scored report card.

somtimes,at some point of life,its not glory thats important,but relaxation.

havent been blogging for quite some time,due to many many things,my academy factor,soccer factor,and most importantly,laziness =x

anyway,im back! a big thank you to those who keep pester me to update my blog =)

i wun like to talk much about my life thou,cuz its nth interesting and im afraid u guys would feel asleep half way reading it,see how kind i am,sparing a thought for others =x

been hearing from my floorball mates that they are quitting floorball,saying that they are tired of this sports and its so boring,bla bla bla

well,i think this is not the main reason that they quit,paranoid or not i dont care,i think that the main reason they quit is because they didnt get into the school team.

oh ya,i didnt get into the school team either,but im not quitting

i think that,its nt surprising that we didnt get into the school team,and deservedly so.

as in,we didnt even attend 1 of the holiday training!

ok,we did,just 1 -.-

but of cause that is not enough,we are not so committed to the cca yet,and its only fair for those who had attended every training session to get into the school team isnt it?besides,we guys are not superstars either!

now,lets just think that,if they got into the school team,will they still be saying,oh floorball's so boring. do u think they will? i highly doubted so la

of cause,i will not go upfront to them and ask them,iszi because u guys didnt get into the team thats y u guys are quitting?

im not doing that duh,i still wanna preserve our friendship,and i do understand why they are feeling so la,its like,the sense of disappointment,i dont know how to describe it,budden,when it comes to school team,and u didnt get in,u will surely feel disappointed isnt it?

same goes to me,im disappointed that i didnt get into the school team

but im looking on the bright side,ive taken a look at the team list,only few of them is year 1,so why the rush? we are still very consider as newbie,and its not embrassing to fail at the first try isnt it? rather than just fall down and cry,why not wipe yourself and standup again?

and like i say,after looking at the my attendance,i cant but think that i dont deserve a place in the team,i would be more surprised if i got in

anyway,went to bugis to shop 2day,looking for a new wallet,and after some time deciding ive decided to buy this

after tt went to AMK hub to watch movie, the seeker


can u believe it?1 actually purposely go bugis buy wallet then go amk watch movie -.-

anyway,went to watch this movie,the seeker

its a movie,that shows,the light vs the dark,the dark will reach his peak power at the 5th day

the light(the good people la),can do nothing to stop him,the only ray of hope is the seeker,who,obviously,is to seek things la -.-

his task is to find the 6 magical pieces,for thats the only way to stop the dark for controlling the world.

and so,on the 5th day,he managed to find just 5 pieces,the 6th cannot be found as its said that "it cannot be found cause its not hidden in the first place"

so...like those fiction story,at the very last moment,when the earth is gonna get destroyed,the seeker realised that,the 6th piece,is actually in him,his soul,which is like so ... -.- la!!

btw this movie oso got a lot of flaws lo

for example ar,5days before,the dark met the lights,and the dark says that,i cant defeat you guys for now,but my power grows as day goes by,and at the 5th day,none can stop me,and then the dark juz leave like that

now my question is...WHY DIDNT THE LIGHT KILL THE DARK AT THAT TIME AR,i mean,even the dark agrees that the light is stronger than him now la,then why not just kill the dark before he gets stronger until they cant defeat him,lame right!

next,the dark keeps sending people to snatch the magicial pieces from the seeker,and obviously,they failed la,now my question is, if the dark is so concerned,why not he just go and snatch it himself hur!

and the stupidest thing is that,they self-proclaimed that they can use magic,but...I SEE NO MAGIC IN THIS MOVIE AT ALL!!! you know theres 1 scene,the seeker got fed up and he starts to roar and roar,then things start to explode,then i was thinking,waaa he damn powerful man,then after tt he went back to time,to a war time i assume,then a warrior went to fight him,and he didnt use magic at all la!! is the magic for show only?! why not just call david copperfield come la!

waste $8 for that lame movie -.-

had my first official SNW 2day!!! coach says theres gonna be a league

juz had sum friendly games 2day thou,24 ppl formed into 4 teams,how nice -.- each team gt 1 sub.

got teamed up wif sam,sam's fren and mig,quite a nice match,won 1 lost 1,not bad for a just formed team

my first touch is,thankfully,still there la,just that i cannot convert the chance given to me,nvm la,i will score nxt time man!

and wad a relief,my team got no solo-er,and for a new team,our movement is consider very good,althou occasionally will clash into each other la =x

im so so looking forward for the nxt SNW lesson =D

ok skipped tt,had my very first official C# lesson,which is FOOP larx,ermm....quite fun,1 of my favourate subject(probably la,that is =x).was taught the basic of the basics today,some normal programming stuff.learnt throught that programme visual studio,and then manage to create a programme in application form.

and lets see...o ya,had my first ever IN2 practical too!! it was so fun la,at first im quite sad la,cause the teacher decided to pair us,then our class happen to have 17 people,and the teacher pair us according to register number,which obviously,im the first of the register(if u count from the back =x)

so i kana left out lo,actually want to ask teacher if can i go into 1 of the group and make it a 3 men group,budden after some thinking,i thought that the best way to learn is to try it myself la,so can concentrate ma,i very easy got distracted 1,lol.

and when i gotten the practical sheet,im like,WTF!!!

then i duno how to start lo,got so panicked and regretted never to have begged teacher to put me in a group la,lol

budden,managed to solved it la,learnt how to configure a router le,quite fun,and easy! lol yeaaaaahhh,k la,budden.... router oso not everytime configure 1 -.-

im sitting near the glasses,so im bored,and i decided to knock the glass

soon,the person at the another end,knock back the glass

and we soon starting to knock each other!!!

and guess wad,cuz,when u press sth to the glass right,u can actually see it from another side of the glass,so we started chatting with by writing words on our papers and press it against the glass,lol,and they replied!

and we started chatting! it was damn funny la,just like msn,and it feels freaky,cuz u never knw who is at the other end.

well,had my first lesson of my new sem in CATS

frens have been telling me its 1 of the most boring module,but well...so far so good eh?dun feel that bored,yet.

now after watching these videos,you cant but to accept the fact that...

1)his vocal is good
2)his facial expression is...omg

ok fine i know that hes very into himself and that he really enjoys the song,but no need to be exaggerating right -.-

i mean c'mon we know you love your songs and we love your vocal too,so,well..please be a bit more "human" next time.

beetle in the soup!!!!!!!

ahh!!! can u believe it!! in my yesterday's dinner,theres a beetle that went inside our soup..zzzz...and its dead,ARRR,and my family still dare to drink that soup,yucks...

anyway,my wishes had came through lately,now i have my own desk,a MUCH HIGHER desk,wahahaha!!!!

arrrr,ive not touched on my blog for like so long! well,anyway,im here to compensate for wad i haven done =)

past few days have been all about final fantasy VII : crisis core,on my psp console

hey this game is so so so nice.well,the only bad thing about this game is that it takes up a total of 1.7gb off my memory stick,and that lefts me with around 300mb left,which is like typically useless.

the graphics of this game is...well,unreal,for a psp console. espiecally the animation part,you would have thought that you are actually watching a final fantasy movie. most part of the animation have speeches.

the game itselves is very easy to play and understand,despite it is in japanese version,its very easy to play once you get the hang of it(and of cause,you would need some basic chinese knowledge so you can roughly know what are the element of the spell,or what are the effects of the medicine)

1 thing to know is that,usually high-graphics game would often leave u headache after sometime,well,this game doesnt,which is a very very good point,cuz u can play very long la!

the best game ive ever played on a psp

latest addition(or adiction) to my list of games is fifa 08 pc edition.

ive always been a loyal fifa player since the release of fifa 2001,and i find that,this fifa08 is very nice to play. you can now control the keeper while its an 1 on 1 situation,unlike last time,you press the W button and hope for the best to come.

theres also a new function,called be-a-pro,well,its typically a game mode,that lets u play,as just 1 player,it can be pretty boring thou,however,i find its a very good way to learn how to position yourself,its something that can apply in real life.

also,in the kick-off mode,theres a game mode call...ehh...wads tt call...zone playing?something like that,basically it lets you play 1 of the line,def line,midfield line,or forward line,once you have chose that line,you can only control player of that line,so its rather like be-a-pro mode but you can control more player la.

compared to fifa07,fifa08 is actually more manual now,in the sense that you must aim your cross/through pass very precisely,and not like 07 which you just roughly aim can liao.

the freekick is also harder to take,unlike that fifa07,where wad you nid to do is just tab ur D key,and most of the time it will hit the back of the net,hehe
