AHA,my dear,then that means that,laws derives from people's opinions too.
fortunately or not, theres no such thing called "standard" for right/wrong. cause this thing is opinion based,and not fact based.
what i mean by fact based is..in layman term, 1+1=2,no matter how you hate it,even if you think that "hey,1+1=2,thats so not cool!" 1+1 will forever = 2 (in mathematical term that is).
why do i consider laws as opinion based? try imagine this,if..lets say,one day,the worst ever thing happened,terrorists takes over the world,and the overwrites the rules,the laws,so such that,stealing is not a crime.
no matter how much you hate to admit it,that,is still law,but in your opinion,do you think its right?
i guess not.
